Having Neil as a coach has allowed me to make some life altering changes to my body, health, and life. We started my cutting phase at 193 lbs and dropped all the way down to 158.5 lbs, a difference of -34.5 lbs! The biggest benefits from having Neil as a coach was the increased intensity of my in-person workouts, the structured and organized layout of my weekly training plan, and the accountability of having him assist with calorie tracking and macronutrient intake. Because of Neil, I was able to skyrocket my growth and attain a great physique! I’m looking forward to continue working with him in the future.

Spotlight to the person who helped me achieve my long term goal of ranking Elite and making it all possible! HuUuUuUuuge shoutout to Neil for everything that you’ve done to help me! If it weren’t for your increasing involvement and motivation, I would’ve completely dropped the meet or competed for the fucks of it at minimal effort. Thanks for programming me, constantly pushing me, sharing your wealth of fitness/health knowledge, handling the meet and filming all my lifts, drying my knee sleeves (loool), and overall making sure I would achieve nothing short of success, forever grateful!

I first met and followed Neil through Instagram and bought some pre-workout from the company he’s sponsored by, InspiredNutra. It's funny because I never thought that buying some pre-workout would turn into an experience like this. I kind of let myself go after my first Powerlifting Meet in October 2016 and went into a hiatus from lifting. I decided that it was time to get back on track and with Neil's help I was able to do that. I had 16 weeks of coaching where he helped me cut weight from 178lbs to 163lbs for the meet and he also programmed my training. I chose the wrong time to cut because it was the time of all the holidays and I knew it would be hard for me to be strict on my diet. Neil did a great job at holding me accountable with my weight and training, and constantly checked up on me. He had me send him bodyweight check-ins every other day and videos of every workout. Although Neil was my coach, we were able to talk to each other like friends and it was very easy to communicate with him. He was very quick on responding when I had issues with the program or specific questions in general. At the end of 16 weeks, it was time for the meet and it was very helpful to have Neil by my side. He not only helped handle me at the meet, but was very supportive and did a great job keeping me motivated through each lift. I can't thank Neil enough for everything he did for me. Now it is time to gain more mass and come back even stronger for the next meet!

Neil has been amazing! He has been the best trainer and coach anyone could ask for, from adjusting my program weekly to keeping me calm and ready for my first meet, he's done it all! He responds quickly to my texts and is kind and professional. When I messed up my warmup for the meet I called him and he immediately gave me a solution. I came to Neil relatively new to powerlifting and he has helped me immensely. I couldn't do it without him, thanks Neil!

When I found Neil via recommendation through a friend I was unsure of getting training due to a negative past experience with another trainer who was no where near Neil’s level of dedication and knowledge. I’ve been lifting for over 15 years and have a solid foundation yet Neil added a lot to my knowledge base. He helped me work past some injuries to my shoulder, elbow, and low back. I ended up being able to lose weight and gain significant strength at the same time. He will check on you and make sure you’re weighing in, working out, and eating right. He’s a nice dude and always there if you have a question no matter how novice and or obvious the answer may be.

I’ve been following Neil on instagram since my sophomore year of high school (currently a college sophomore) and honestly, his posts have always motivated me to do better mentally and physically. I emailed him around October 2016 that I wanted to do a powerlifting competition (basically focus on strength) in late 2017 or 2018 and this man said, “Nah. You’re going to do it next year in January!” Honestly, I came into his gym with a general idea of powerlifting but never went beyond heavy because it was a daunting idea. However, Neil made training for me so comfortable but still gained a lot of progress to the point when competition day came, I got first place (gold medal) in my division in the USPA at Camp Pendleton. I honestly would not have been able to be where I am today if it wasn’t for him. I feel more stronger than most men at any commercial gym and everyone compliments on my legs which is pretty interesting. My next journey with him is to cut, be lean, and healthy. I trust him with my body and if you follow his orders, you won’t regret having him as your trainer. To think that years ago, I was a subscriber on youtube and a follower on instagram being a total stranger/fan to him and now we have a older brother to younger sister relationship. He is an amazing trainer as well as a friend. Really looking forward to my cutting project. Thank you Neil!

HUGE thank you to my coach Neil Dang! From doing my programs, teaching, trusting, handling, being patient, and so much more, thanks for being such a reliable person I can lean on. You definitely took great care of me even on meet day from start to finish. Even though I had a mini breakdown you believed in me from the start. Thank you for being apart of my journey to my first meet and definitely not my last.

Neil is a well-rounded fitness coach who can definitely push you to the goal you are trying to achieve wether it is physique, strength or competitive; he has done it all. His one to one private training is great with a great gym that has all the equipment needed and his online coaching is awesome as well changing your personal program as needed on a weekly bases. He got me from 215lbs to my lowest weight of 197lbs in about 3 months! I would extremely recommend that give him a try whether you are new or not.

About three years ago, I met Neil at 24 hour fitness thanks to Instagram and I knew he was right person to help me. My goal in 2017 was to put on weight, gain strength and hopefully compete this year so I knew I needed a trainer. I started training with Neil in February and within the first week, I learned so much! First, he helped me track my macros which took a couple weeks to figure how much food I needed to eat in order to put on weight. Before, I would work out and not eat enough, but with the help of Neil, I was able to still eat my favorite foods and went from 128lbs to 135lbs in 7 weeks! Next, Neil really helped me out during my workouts by being patient, correcting my form, and showing me new techniques to help me perform better! After a few sessions, my confidence & strength went up thanks to him! What surprised me the most, was my deadlift went from 165lbs to 225lbs within a few months! I am definitely looking forward to training with Neil again and happy with my results! I highly recommend his program if you're serious about making fitness one of your main priorities!

In 2018 around the start of November I began to become unsatisfied with my body composition and decided it was time for me to get a coach. I looked around for a bit and decided to choose Neil because he has knowledge in building muscles and strength gains. I then chose to do a 16 week program. Neil was able to make a program for me that fitted my busy school, and work schedule. He gave me set macro nutrients that would change after every block and would check up to ensure I was on track with my diet and lifts. I felt that the program he put together for me worked the best compared to other ones that I have tried because I wanted to build more muscles which is where all the volume and accessories came in play, but I also did not want to give up doing the main lifts. I started the program weighing approximately 169lbs and by the end of the 16 weeks I was 156lbs at my lowest. My results were great because was able to finally achieve my goal of 405lb deadlift and surprised myself with a 305lb squat while weighing much less than the last time I had tested my PRs. I am currently still doing the program again for the 3rd time now, but this time around I am on a caloric surplus. I have been gaining a great amount of weight while still maintaining slight masculinity considering the fact that I am about 20lbs heavier than when I finished the program the first time. Neil was an overall good and friendly coach who I felt safe opening up to.

In 2017, I injured my back from deadlifting with incorrect form, leading me to avoid deadlifts. From that point on, I began to make excuses on not going to the gym or telling myself like “I’m bulking”. With these excuses came the consequences of unhealthy weight gain (192 lb.). After multiple inconsistent diets and workout regimens, I decided to message Neil. One of the questions he asked me was what my goals were. To be honest, all I wanted to do at that point was lose weight. Thinking about it more, I wanted to fix my form on deadlifts and squats. Neil created a program catering to what my goals were, including nutrition. Prior to meeting Neil, I either “dirty bulked”, didn’t count macros, or didn’t cut properly. Working with him, he educated me on how to calculate macros for both bulking and cutting. Along with education on nutrition, he helped me correct my form on deadlift and squats. I was struggling to deadlift 135lbs. 2 months later, I maxed out on 300lb deadlifts. This was the moment that got me addicted to lifting. 4 months later, I’m able to rep out that same amount. Neil helped me lose 50lbs in six months and corrected my deadlift/squat form. Throughout the program, he was always ready to answer any question I had (Believe me, I had a ton). If you are looking for that jumpstart in fitness and are looking for a trainer who is genuinely caring and passionate about what he does, I would highly recommend him! Without your help, I wouldn’t have gotten results as rapidly. Thanks Neil!

Neil has been a great coach during my 16 week Powerlifting prep. Prior to reaching out to Neil, I was struggling with my compound movements and began to hit a plateau. Not only did Neil help me improve my form but he also helped me break those plateaus and reach new PR’s. I never thought I’d achieve a 400+lb squat. Neil’s knowledge on fitness expands to more than just powerlifting. Whatever your goals are, Neil has the extensive knowledge to help you through your journey. Thank you again Neil for everything you’ve taught me!

I’ve started powerlifting since 2014 and within 4 years, I’ve competed 4 times. I remember coming to Neil asking him to coach me and be my handler for 2 of my meets. Honestly, I was pretty happy when he said yes to helping me because I know he is the type of guy that will always put 110% effort in whatever he is doing especially helping others to achieve their goals. For both of my meets, he would go out of his way to be there with me during weigh-in’s (which is super early) and all day during my meet. He made sure that I ate enough to stay fueled for all my lifts, he put his trust in me. He’s not the type that makes you do what he think you can’t. I remember he would always ask, “do you think you can do this number? If you can I believe in you” I won both meets with 1st place! Neil really made powerlifting and competing fun for me and he’s definitely a guy to go to if you ever need someone to be your handler or a coach for dieting/training.

As much as I hate to post the before pictures, I still have quite a way to go but I'm proud of my accomplishment so far. I've lost 17 lbs and have gained a lot of muscle and strength in the process. I want to thank everyone that was being supportive, and especially my trainer @neilvegetadang! He taught me how to lose weight while eating whatever I want by tracking macronutrients. He's always made working out enjoyable and amazingly there was never a day that I was extremely sore either. He guides me through my workouts to do everything safely and correctly in order to increase strength. From a 12 week period going from body weight squats to squating over a 135lbs, from benching very little with poor form to benching with correct form and over 100lbs! He's motivated me so much that I've even decided to get into powerlifting! Thank you, Neil!

I made it a goal to compete in at least one powerlifting competition this year. I reached out to Neil after coming across his IG and website through random fitness vlogs I watched on YouTube. At first I was skeptical working with Neil because I’m a kinesthetic learner and since we’re basically 6 hours away from each other, online training was the only option. It was either now or never and honestly, no regrets on choosing him to be my coach. After working with him for 16 weeks, I was able to hit all time PR’s at this body weight. He was always available when I had questions and checked in frequently to see how I was doing throughout the program. During weigh ins and meet day, he literally took care of everything for me and only asked me to do two things: eat and lift. On meet day, he coached me through every lift, reminded me of cues and commands, and hyped me up before I stepped on the platform. The thing I love the most about working with Neil is that he doesn’t become just a coach to you, but a genuine friend. Overall, 11/10, would recommend, would train with him again LOL. Neil, thank you for everything and expect another meet sometime soon!

I first met Neil back in 2014 when he worked at a nutrition shop. He had a lot of knowledge on fitness, sport supplements and vitamins. Later on we became friends on social media and I began to ask him for his expertise in body transformation. We started to lift together in his backyard gym and he taught me how to track macronutrients and helped formulate a training program for me that would help me lose fat first and then build muscle with a leaner body frame. His knowledge and guidance carried me for years and I’m really happy and grateful for the results. Thank you, Neil!

I would like to thank Neil Dang for being on this journey with me -- Road to the Crown. Thank you for helping me win the Binibining Pilipinas USA 2016 3rd Runner-Up title. I appreciate you for being my mentor, friend, and trainer. With your help, my confidence increased and I learned to take care of my body more responsibly. I appreciate your flexibility with working with me early morning and late nights because it truly helped increase my strength and endurance! Your workouts were so fun and diverse. Also, thank you for your pre-workout EMBER. I felt the difference in my energy level. I recommended it to my friends :) What I really loved was how you didn't give up on me. Always cheered me on during my workouts when I felt like I couldn't go on anymore, you believed in me. You are GENUINE. You're a wonderful person and anyone is lucky to be trained by you.

Going into the start of my fitness journey, I had no idea what I was doing. I would dabble with machines here and there, play with some dumbbells if there wasn't anyone around or if I was at home, but honestly, I was a cardio bunny that had zero confidence and never found myself standing on a platform. Opening up to the idea of hiring an online coach, and moving forward with Neil is hands down the best decision that I could have ever made for not only my fitness journey, but also my overall mental and emotional health. With his programming and guidance, I found passion for something that I never thought I would at a time when I felt lost and both mentally, as well as emotionally defeated. I was looking to be healthier, stronger, and more confident in myself--both mentally and physically. I want to be able to say that I took control of my health and did all that I could to combat all of the health risks that run in my family. I wanted to show my family, myself, and the world that just because I'm a 5ft girl, that doesn't mean that I'm weak; it doesn't mean that I can't lift weights because it's not "ladylike". I needed to feel less self-conscious, find a healthy balance in life across food, fitness, and LIVING my life. With Neil, I found that and so much more. Words will never be able to express how thankful I am that he put the time and effort into my program, as well as my life--checking in on me to see I was doing and being more than just a coach. He was constantly cheering me on and providing a vote of confidence in any and all of my lifts, any progress I made, any time I failed an attempt, etc. Starting off, even though I had experience with weights, lifting the bar was probably the extent of my strength and my form was terrible, which made "progress" difficult without the fear of injuring myself, falling backwards while squatting, etc. Now, three months later, I walk into the gym and look for the next open rack, bench, platform.. .I walk in with the confidence and mindset that I am going to kill the workout, meet a new PR, nail my form. I walk into the gym and into the world with a confidence that in 25 years of life, have never experienced within myself. I am squatting over 180 lbs, deadlifting over 200, and benching almost my body weight. It has been an incredible journey, and NONE of it would have been possible without the help of hands down, the best coach I could have ever asked for, Neil. With the fitness industry being on the rise, you will see so many coaches offering their service, but know that with Neil, you are getting more than just a coach.. .you are getting a friend, cheerleader, and a voice that remains in the back of your head during each rep, set, lift; every day in life, no matter what you are doing telling you, "you've got this!" To say that his service is highly recommended is an understatement. Thank you! From the bottom of my heart, from the platform that i drive from during my lifts to the lockout (haha), thank you!”

Starting at 26 years old, sitting at 5'7 ft tall and weighing 188lbs. I've been attempting to lose weight for several months, but I was unable to reach my goal of doing so. That was until I reached out to Neil, who has helped me finally break through my plateau. Although my knee was injured prior to training with Neil, he wasn't hesitant about working with me at all. Before Neil, I was stuck doing the same workouts over and over again, but his new training menu motivated me to push my body and allowed me to enjoy working out once again. The meal plans were specifically tailored to my lifestyle & gave me the proper nutrients to meet my needs. The training program was adjusted every week while tracking personal records and numbers to help improve my workouts. Within 4 weeks I clearly saw a difference between my "Before" and current photos. My strength and endurance are finally shooting back up again! I even noticed an increased in energy, self-confidence and libido. Overall, I am happy with the results that were produced. I plan to stick with Neil and continue to push myself to meet my fullest potential.

Neil Dang, the true definition of a nutrition specialist and private coach not only he carries that title but he’s also a great friend and older brother. I got out of a 3 year relationship and got comfortable at 210 lbs I am now standing at 193. I started off not able to do one pull up as of right now I would be able to do 10. I have mastered the true form of each of my workouts and I’ve seen results very quick. Talk about the best motivation you could possibly get, he’ll get you to the peak of muscle failure. At the end you’ll see gains that you’ve never achieved before. Present day my pr are as follows: Bench press 245, dead lifts 375, squats 225. Thanks Neil for this remarkable journey, I’ve never been consistent since. Would definitely recommend 10/10!! We will meet again this winter for strength and conditioning.

For my first powerlifting event I wanted to make sure I had a coach who had knowledge in the sport as well as experience which directed me towards Neil. I found Neil through social media and contacted him through there and was directed to his website. Neil’s coaching/programming helped me better develop and push myself outside my comfort zone. I benefitted from critique that related to my form/setup/stance after I’d send Neilworkout footage, and if I had any questions on training days he was a quick phone call or text message away. 1 week out I met with Neil to go over commands and he answered all my questions on proper attire to bring for competition day. The day of the competition I warmed up and got final tips and advice for my lifts and he even gave me some of his pre-workout stack for meet days. He handled all my lift offs and gave me my first attempts numbers, and decided on second and third lifts to my convenience. All this help from Neil was balanced while he was coaching 2 other competitors and himself in the same event. Overall the programming gave me a solid foundation to follow and progressively build strength, it was easy to follow and if something was too easy or too hard it was altered. I will definitely be keeping in contact with Neil for upcoming competitions, great coach and role model.

I’ve been powerlifting for 4 years now and I’ve had great progress on my own and gained a considerable amount of strength. I had done my first meet without a coach and for my second meet I decided I wanted to have some accountability.
Funnily enough, Neil came to my first meet with my friend Jillian and he was a huge help because I didn’t know what to expect. That’s what got me to want to hire him to coach me later!
Neil is a really understanding and compassionate coach. He checks up on me very frequently and keeps me going when I didn’t want to work out. It’s great to have a coach because even though you think you’ve “got it”, in moments of weakness you need someone to tell you to keep going.
What I love about Neil is that he really goes above and beyond to make sure everything is going smoothly. He absolutely loves the sport and you can tell he loves his clients too because he gets so hyped for them!
I placed 1st in the raw open division of my class and also in the deadlift only class. I’m only ~30 lbs away from my goal total of 700 lbs now! Appreciate all you do Neil!
